What is MCP and what does the Sanji connector do?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use to talk to external tools. The Sanji MCP server exposes your Sanji account and Sanji's market intelligence as tools: your assistant can read your positions and PnL, analyse what Sanji traders are buying, run token safety reports, and — only if you switch on Agent trading — buy, sell and set stop-loss / take-profit orders with your Sanji wallet.

Which AI clients work with it?

Anything that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP: Claude (web, desktop and mobile via custom connectors), Claude Code, ChatGPT (developer mode connectors), Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code Copilot, Goose and custom agents built with the MCP SDKs. You add one URL — your personal connector URL — and no extra authentication step is needed.

Is it safe to give an AI access to my Sanji account?

Your key is stored only as a SHA-256 hash and is shown once. The server can only call a fixed allowlist of Sanji endpoints: there is no withdraw, transfer, private-key export or settings tool, so funds can never leave your wallet through MCP. Trading is off by default and must be switched on per account (2FA code required when you have 2FA), and even then hard server caps apply to size and frequency. You can revoke the key in one click and every connected assistant loses access immediately.

How does Agent trading work?

With Agent trading enabled your assistant can call buy_token, sell_token, set_stop_loss_take_profit, create_limit_buy_order and cancel_limit_order. Good assistants restate the exact token, amount and levels and ask for your confirmation first — the tool descriptions instruct them to. Sanji enforces a maximum SOL per buy and limits on trades per minute and per day regardless of what the assistant asks for. Accounts with 2FA for buys or sells must provide the 6-digit code with each trade.

I log in with Phantom — can my assistant trade for me?

Reading works for every login type, but trading needs a Sanji-managed wallet (Telegram or Google login) because Phantom must sign every transaction in your browser. Phantom users can still use all market, analysis, position and history tools.

What market intelligence is available?

get_market_pulse gives a one-call overview: the tokens Sanji traders are buying and selling most (anonymised counts and SOL flow), the trending list, and a consensus list of tokens that appear in both signals. There are also tools for community flow, most-copied wallets, trending tokens, token search, per-token deep-dive reports with Rugcheck safety data, and wallet profiles.

Are there usage limits?

Each account gets a daily tool-call quota (reads and writes combined) and the trading caps described above. Without a key, the public market tools still work with a small per-IP limit so you can try the connector before signing in. Quotas reset at 00:00 UTC.

How do I disconnect or rotate the key?

Click Revoke on this page to disable the key and switch off Agent trading at the same time. Generating a new key replaces the old one — assistants configured with the old URL stop working instantly and you paste the new URL into your client.
